Eligibility: Applicants should have a minimum of 9-12 undergraduate credits in art history (or the equivalent) beyond the introductory level. Applicants may be asked to appear for a personal interview by the department graduate committee.

Art history majors preferred, though related disciplines will be considered. Students are encouraged to visit the campus, speak with an advisor and sit in on a class.

  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Resume/CV
  • Personal Statement
  • Writing Sample (5-10 page Art History paper)

GRE Required: No
Minimum TOEFL/IELTS Scores: 577 (PBT), 90-91 (IBT) or 6.5
